Evaluation of the interactions machine - bulk media, using discrete element, machine learning and statistical methods.


The proposed project is divided into four main tasks:

- accumulation of experimental data from machine-bulk (granular material) interactions;
- simulation analysis of similar modes for machine-bulk interaction;
- statistical evaluation, analysis and processing of the data, as well as statistical modelling;
- - evaluation, analysis and processing of the data, using machine learning methods

Project aim and hypothesis:

The statistical models /SM/, extended statistical models /RMST/ and machine learning models /ML/
require a significant initial accumulation of experimental data to build adequate models suitable for analysis.
Subsequently, these experimental data, their processed statistical assessments, and the statistical and ML models
will be used for comparative evaluation of software models and simulation results.
